Christmas & New Year Beauty Planning • Vaughan
When should you book Botox, AquaGold, PRP or fat dissolving
before a Christmas party, family photos or New Year’s Eve?
The answer depends on the treatment, your individual response and
how much time you have before your event.
Some treatments need time to settle. Others develop gradually or may
involve temporary swelling, tenderness or bruising. Starting with your
event date makes it easier to build a treatment plan
without rushing.
Christmas party, photos, wedding, vacation or New Year event.
Allow appropriate time for treatment effects and recovery.
Your anatomy, history and goals determine the final treatment plan.
Holiday Planning Guide
There is no single timeline that works for every injectable or skin
treatment. A client considering Botox has a different planning window
than someone beginning PRP or a multi-session body-contouring plan.
As a general planning principle, treatments that may involve
gradual results, multiple sessions or more noticeable temporary swelling
should be started earlier.
Wrinkle Treatment Planning
If you are considering Botox before a major holiday event, avoid
treating it like a last-minute appointment.
Botox begins working gradually after treatment, and the appearance
continues to settle over the following days. Temporary redness,
swelling or bruising can also occur at injection sites.
Many clients prefer to schedule Botox approximately
2–3 weeks before an important event
so there is time for the treatment to take effect and for the result
to be assessed. Individual response varies.
Common treatment areas may include the forehead, frown lines and
crow’s feet depending on individual anatomy and goals.
Botox at Face Injectables is currently
$9 per unit.
Event-Ready Skin
AquaGold may be considered when your goal is a more hydrated,
refreshed and polished-looking complexion before photographs,
parties or special events.
At Face Injectables, AquaGold treatments are customized following
assessment and may incorporate
Restylane Skinboosters or Teosyal RHA 1.
PRP may also be incorporated when appropriate.
Avoid scheduling a first-time AquaGold treatment immediately before
a major event. Allow time for possible temporary redness,
sensitivity, swelling or other short-term skin responses to settle.
If you already know how your skin responds, your individualized timing
can be discussed during treatment planning.
Gradual Skin Rejuvenation
PRP is different from a treatment chosen purely for a last-minute
cosmetic refresh. Skin-quality changes generally develop gradually,
so it makes sense to begin PRP earlier when preparing for an important
holiday season or event.
PRP may be incorporated into a skin-rejuvenation plan for concerns
involving the appearance of texture, tone and overall skin quality.
Some clients may also choose a series depending on their goals.
If PRP is part of your holiday skin plan, starting several weeks
before your most important event gives the skin more time to settle
and allows gradual changes to develop.
Body Contouring Planning
If your holiday goal involves
localized body contouring
,
fat-dissolving treatments generally require more advance planning
than a last-minute facial.
These treatments are intended for localized areas rather than overall
weight loss. Depending on the area and individual plan, more than one
treatment session may be recommended.
Temporary swelling, tenderness, firmness or bruising can occur after
treatment, which is another reason not to schedule body contouring
immediately before a major event.
Start the conversation earlier rather than waiting until December.
Your treatment plan can be built around the area being treated,
your event date and the number of sessions that may be appropriate.
Work Backwards From Your Event
Consider starting treatments that may involve a series,
gradual changes or more noticeable temporary swelling.
This is a more comfortable planning window for treatments that
need time to settle before an important event.
Tell us your exact event date before booking. A treatment that
makes sense several weeks earlier may not be the best choice
immediately before photographs or celebrations.
New Year Beauty Planning
The same principle applies: work backwards from December 31 rather
than waiting until the final days of the year.
If you are interested in Botox, skin rejuvenation or body contouring,
tell us that
New Year’s Eve is your target date.
Your treatment recommendations can then be planned around the amount
of time available.
Clients beginning fat-dissolving or PRP treatment plans may also
choose to use the holiday period as the beginning of a longer-term
New Year treatment plan rather than expecting a single appointment
to complete the process.
Holiday Treatment FAQs
Many clients prefer approximately 2–3 weeks before an important
event. This allows time for Botox to take effect and for the result
to settle. Individual response and treatment needs vary.
It may be possible in some circumstances, but it is not the ideal
planning strategy for everyone. Temporary injection-site effects
can occur, and Botox needs time to develop. Tell us your event date
when booking.
Allow time between treatment and an important event for temporary
redness or sensitivity to settle. First-time clients in particular
should avoid scheduling immediately before a major event.
PRP is generally better suited to a longer-term skin-rejuvenation
plan because changes develop gradually. It is not positioned as an
instant last-minute transformation.
Start earlier when possible. Treatment plans may involve more than
one session, and temporary swelling, tenderness, firmness or
bruising may occur. Your exact timeline depends on the area and
individualized plan.
Some treatments can be incorporated into the same overall plan when
clinically appropriate, but they do not necessarily need to be
performed on the same day. The sequence and timing should be
personalized.
